Anticipating Mayhem

I think someone sabotaged my clock; moved it ahead an hour, when I wasn’t looking. It was 7:00pm just five minutes ago, wasn’t it? Fine, so it wasn’t. I still think time is messing with me…

For day 25 of NaPoWriMo with Magaly Guerrero 2015, Write a poem that lets us glimpse into how you ready yourself before facing known troubles, and what you do to cope once mayhem has done its thing.

Instructions

* Leave a link to your poem, as a comment. Include the title of your entry, and the direct link to your post. Example: “NaPoWriMo with Magaly Guerrero 2015”: http://magalyguerrero.com/napowrimo-with-magaly-guerrero-2015/. Visit other Wicked Darlings and comment on their yum. They might visit you (it’s polite).

* If you use this prompt, please link it to your post. And if you are feeling extra delicious, link your poem to the main entry. Show others where to go. Spread the word. Linking back to the source… might make you on time, um… next time you are running late.

  1. A prompt that peeked directly inside my skull and said “I see what you are writing, there…’ When mayhem, looms, I try to withdraw, a method which has its limitations:

    The Shell

Now I am off to bed, happy in knowing I have down my 25th poem.
