Tim Burton à la Peculiar

A year or so ago, I saw Tim Burton’s name and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children in the same sentence. I’m pretty sure I had a joy-induced heart attack. The novel is perfectly creepy. Our dear Señor Burton makes creepy delectable. Well, he does it for me. So yes, I’m thrilled and then some about the movie… which will be out today. My nephew and I will watch it tomorrow. Until then, I shall celebrate the occasion with a trio of illustrated haiku… obviously.
