Becoming One

Sometimes I’m terrified of my heart; of its constant hunger for whatever it is it wants. The way it stops and starts.” Mama Zen shared this Poe quote, and then asked, “What are you hungry for?  Tell me…” And my Muse told her…

Touch me
yours and wild
in the dark,
make the sun

yearn for moon-
light memories,
of you and me
becoming one.

the wee notes…
– After rereading this wee bit, I can’t help but wonder if the speaker lives in “My Sweet Night-Mare” poem. It sounds like one of them talking, don’t you think?

  1. Beautiful , a spell..makes me think of one chanting over a potion or repeating over and over in whispers!! Do you ever do spoken word recordings? I think all of your writing has that vibe!
    Love the artist too..gorgeous!

  2. Your writing is consistently great, of course, but I don’t believe I’ve ever said enough about the imagery you choose to go with those words. Whether it’s something you’ve done or something you’ve found elsewhere, it always jumps right out at the me.

  3. Awww…this is so romantic. Love the moonlight reference. I picture dinner outside while the fireworks are blasting. thank you for the magnificent images.
