Budding and Blooming and Fruiting and… BDSM?

Plants are wild, wild fun…

…a soul will never drown in boredom or despair or loneliness, if said soul slows down enough to listen to the song of a leaf that knows how to touch the sky without letting go of her roots.

chayote… getting a bit grabby (while drinking up the evening sun)

passiflora… budding happily (I counted at least 9 soon-to-be-blooms)

strawberry… blooming so prettily (and showing off her rain-jewels)

tomato… fruiting and blooming at the same time (the show off!)

dearest chayote… tendrils practicing BDSM in the urban wild? I wonder what the leaf’s safeword might be… Do you care to guess? Go on, guess— plants delight in spreading the fun. Really, I’ve asked… between songs.

    • Anything she wants to be, but… mostly “an edible plant belonging to the gourd family Cucurbitaceae, along with melons, cucumbers and squash”, which tastes delicious roasted, steamed, stewed with chicken… and so on. 😀

    • The first rule of the Kinky Shenanigans Container Garden Club is: you DO NOT talk about the Kinky Shenanigans Container Garden Club! The second rule: take pictures and plant innuendos.

  1. You do love yourself some “tendril” action don’t you cws, and I don’t think your Chayote knows what a “safe word” is, so it won’t matter what the leaf cries out mwahahahaha XXX

  2. I knew I wasn’t the only one who got excited about vines reaching and winding and squeezing… Plant bondage is sooo pretty!
