  1. Whoa! A turning of the tables, the real monster taken care of by the perceived monster, who turns out to be a hero in my book! Going to love reading more about Jazz! Looks like she has lots of interesting talents! Your characters are always so well written. You can’t help but fall in love with them!

    • Most likely with the October collection. But who knows, Mad Tea Party time approaches… Maybe Jazz and Octavia are into tea. Seriously, with a name like Octavia, that kid must be into tea. 😀

  2. Awesome! I’m glad you chose this particular Kenn Mortensen I’ll mage. It was my favourite of the three. Your story is bloody brilliant. There’s a reason you’re an author, dear Magaly. ♥

    • I think I just blushed a little. *giggles*

It was one of my favorite images, too. The expression of the slightly woman intrigued me. I wanted to know what put that look on face. Guess we know now.

  3. Well… this tale had everything! First I was grinning with this line: “A helmeted head and extra pointy protection, Jazz thought, that’s style!”

And then the tension built… and built…

And then the righteous vengeance! Woohoo!!

    Yes! More Jazz!!

  4. I love honest monsters and love this story. I’ll guess I’ll just have to add Jazz to my list of characters I have to bug you about as I want to learn more about them, hehe.

    • I do have a tendency of having grandmothers in my stories, but I never noticed so many of them were grumpy. I must pay attention. Then again, I do have a thing for grumpy old folks. I’ve always thought the have the right to be as crabby as they like, since they’ve lived so much and their bodies remember so many things. 🙂

    • Jazz is a delight to write. I’m so glad you like her.

Thanks so much for keeping me in your thoughts, Holly. I’ve been getting better slowly, but you know how that goes… I’m hoping the summer months will bring much better things. ♥

  5. Yes, totally trusted you would make me smile with a happy ending… More Jazz baby, music in word form 🙂 so bummed couldn’t partake, I must go visit the other posts, love a good monster blogfest!

    • I’m so glad you like Jazz. She’s a darling. I just know she’ll love you, too.

Well, you’ll have a chance to come out and play in in June or July, for the A Fanciful Twist’s Mad Tea Party (I hope *wink, wink, wink*). ♥♥♥

  6. Whooaaa! Such a riveting read 😀 I was absolutely mesmerized and pleasantly surprised when she caught him in the end. “You don’t get to beg for a merciful bloody death, filth. That’s just for honest monsters.” Brilliant ❤❤

    Lots of love,
